Silke Spangler taught me German at the integration course at the Goethe- Institut in 2013-2014. Silke is a super example of a communicative teacher. Her lessons include a whole range of different types of activities aimed at making students speak and interact with each other: information gap exercises, role-play, group work, games, etc. Silke facilitates the student-to-student interaction so well that the number of students in the group does not matter: i was in a group with twenty students and we were all busy talking and practicing every day!
Silke is very encouraging and even the shyest students become brave enough to speak and communicate in her class. She explains new grammar and vocabulary in a way that it becomes clear even to the people who do not speak any German or other language common with the teacher. She is very delicate in correcting mistakes and handling the class. She is positive and has a lot of humour. The atmosphere in the classroom is always lively.
Her lessons are both effective and fun. I would love to do a course with Silke again.
Silke Spangler hat mich 2013-2014 im Deutschkurs und Integrationskurs am Goethe-Institut unterrichtet. Silke ist ein tolles Beispiel einer kommunikativen Lehrerin. Ihre Unterrichtsstunden enthalten unterschiedliche Aktivitäten, die darauf abzielen, dass die Studenten sprechen und miteinander kommunizieren, z. B. “information gap” Übungen, Rollenspiele, Gruppenarbeit, verschiedene Spiele, usw.. Silke ermöglicht die Studenten-Studenten-Interaktion so gut, dass es egal ist, wie viele Leute in der Gruppe sind: Ich war in einer Gruppe mit zwanzig Teilnehmern, aber wir waren die ganze Zeit mit Sprechen und Üben beschäftigt!
Silke ist sehr ermutigend und sogar die schüchternsten Studenten werden mutig genug um laut zu sprechen und im Unterricht zu kommunizieren. Silke erklärt Grammatik und Vokabular so, dass sie sogar für die Studenten, die kein Deutsch oder eine andere gemeinsame Sprache sprechen, klar wird. Sie ist sehr feinfühlig und zurückhaltend, wenn sie Fehler korrigieren muss und auch beim Klassenverhalten. Sie ist sehr positiv und humorvoll. Die Atmosphäre in unserer Gruppe war immer locker. Silkes Unterricht war immer effektiv und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Ich würde gerne noch einen Kurs bei Silke machen.
